The Lakers led the Nets by six at halftime but collapsed in the second half, when Brooklyn outscored them, 68–44. The MLC Is Auditing Streaming Services for the First Time The audits are intended to ensure the accuracy of reported and paid royalties beyond the measures already taken by the MLC. The Mechanical Licensing Collective ( the MLC ) has issued notices of intent to audit all digital service providers (DSPs) that operate under the compulsory blanket license administered by the MLC since its inception in 2021. This includes a slew of different companies that license music, including on-demand  streaming  services (like  Spotify , Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal and Deezer), the interactive streaming side of internet radio companies (like Pandora, Mixcloud and iHeart Radio) and music apps (like Ultimate Guitar, PianoTrax and WeavRun).   Oldest US Senator Chuck Grassley admitted to hospital over infection Republican Chuck Grassley, the oldest member of the US senate, has been admitted to hospital where he is being treated for an infection. The 90-year-old Senator is receiving antibiotic infusions at hospital in his home state of Iowa, his office said. He will miss Tuesday vote to advance a short-term spending bill which seeks to avoid a government shutdown. Before missing a vote in 2020 after testing for Covid-19, Mr Grassley boasted 27 years of perfect attendance. "Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is receiving antibiotic infusions at an area hospital to treat an infection," his office said in a statement on Tuesday night.
